This year's Christmas party was held at Cactus Jack's near Half-moon Lake. Everyone enjoyed the Mexican atmosphere, bountiful chips and friendly smiles.
Freezin for a Reason '04 Special Olympics Ride
The 2004 Freezin for a Reason to benefit Special Olympics was the first "ride" for the event. The previous 2 events were held despite closed trails.
<--WDEZ radio staff join Dave Marg (Marathon Snowmobile Coordinator) and Lori Plaza from Special Olympics before the ride.
Special athletes joined in the fun all day long. V
It was the kind of day that brought a smile. 7 inches of fresh snow, perfectly groomed trails & one section of monster drifts--Yah!!V
Our own Lori Schutte (arctic cat) & Bill Dreas (polaris) join Dave Smith (ski doo) to show a good cause brings everyone together. V
